  • The Ice Room: The cold plunge is in the sauna. This is a smaller room able to hold 5-7 people comfortably. The ice bath has the capacity to have one person in at a time.

    The Fire Room: The ice bath is located just outside of the sauna doors. This larger sauna is able to hold 8-10 people comfortably. The ice bath has the capacity to hold up to 1-2 people at a time.

  • Both the Ice Room and Fire Room saunas are set to 170°F-190°F.

  • The Ice Room ice bath is set to 37°F-45°F

    The Large ice bath just outside of the Fire Room is set to 50°F-55°F .

  • 15-20 minutes is reccomended.

  • 1-3 minutes at 35°F.

    3-5 minutes at 45°F.

  • All participants must wear swim suits or gym attire. Although this is a traditional Scandinavian Ice Spa, we are not in Europe, so please cover up. We recommend you wear flip flops, slides or sandals. Sweat towels (hand sized) are provided. We encourage you to bring your own bath towel to dry off.

  • Non-members: 12 hours before the start of your session: no fee. Within 12 hours: no refund

    Members: 12 hours before the start of your session: no fee. Within 12 hours: $20 charge

  • Yes! Studies show cardiovascular improvements across the board for all major athletes utilizing sauna after a workout or cardio session.

  • Yes! Highly recommended to plunge and go workout. Not only will you feel great but your body will be working to get warm immediately. This will enhance any workout!

  • Yes, this is highly recommended for members with experience. Get as much hot and cold exposure as possible within your 45 min session. If you need more time let us know and we can explain the double session pricing. For athletes we recommend this once a week for optimal performance enhancements and recovery.

  • Yes, you will be tired and in need of water and salt/ electrolytes to rehydrate. Remember when you are in the sauna your body is working very hard to cool your body down!

  • We are wheelchair accessible for members only. Please note that our cold plunge amenity is not ADA accessible, as it is a private feature of our facility.

    If you require ADA accommodations:

    A valid waiver must be on file for ADA exemption.

    Wheelchair users or individuals with mobility challenges must be accompanied by a licensed physical therapistin order to become a member and access the facility.

    We do not allow walk-ins—advance coordination is required.

    Your physical therapist must be present to assist with entry and exit from the cold plunge.

    Life vests are provided to ensure added safety during use.

  • Nordic On Nine (HCT Recovery Inc.) – Comprehensive Liability Waiver and Release Agreement

    PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING. THIS IS A LEGALLY BINDING DOCUMENT.

    In consideration of being permitted to participate in the services, facilities, and activities provided by Nordic On Nine (HCT Recovery Inc.)—including but not limited to saunas, cold plunges, relaxation areas, locker rooms, showers, changing areas, and any private or therapy-based amenities (collectively referred to as the "Activities")—I, the undersigned participant ("Participant"), acknowledge and agree to the following:

    Section 1: General Facility Waiver and Release

    1. Assumption of Risk

    I understand and acknowledge that participating in the Activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

    Physical Risks: Burns, frostbite, slips, falls, dizziness, fainting, dehydration, hypothermia, hyperthermia, muscle strains.

    Health Risks: Exacerbation of pre-existing medical conditions (e.g., heart problems, respiratory issues, blood pressure disorders, diabetes, pregnancy).

    Environmental Risks: Exposure to extreme temperatures, slippery surfaces, or equipment malfunction.

    Other Risks: Risks posed by other guests or communicable diseases.

    I accept full responsibility for all risks, including those that may result in serious injury, illness, permanent disability, or death.

    2. Release of Liability

    On behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, I release and hold harmless Nordic On Nine, its owners, employees, agents, contractors, and affiliates ("Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, or legal actions related to or arising from my participation in the Activities, including negligence, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct as prohibited by law.

    3. Indemnification

    I agree to indemnify and defend the Released Parties against any claims, including legal fees, resulting from my participation in the Activities or any breach of this Agreement.

    4. Medical Consent

    I certify that I am physically and mentally fit for participation. I will consult a medical professional if necessary and understand that sauna and cold plunge use is not recommended for people with certain health conditions or those under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

    In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize Nordic On Nine to seek treatment on my behalf and accept financial responsibility for any associated costs.

    5. Rules and Conduct

    I agree to comply with all posted or stated rules and staff instructions. I understand failure to do so may result in my removal from the premises without a refund.

    6. Media Release

    I authorize Nordic On Nine to use my image, voice, or likeness in any photographs or videos taken during my visit for marketing and promotional purposes, without compensation.

    Section 2: Therapy Release Waiver for Private Assisted Cold Plunge

    7. Facility and Service Description

    The private assisted cold plunge amenity is a specialized therapeutic service available only to active members of Nordic On Nine. It is accessed exclusively through private reservation, under the direct supervision of a licensed physical therapist or physician. This service is not open to the general public and is intended for sports recovery and physical therapy purposes.

    8. Assumption of Risk – Cold Plunge

    I understand that the cold plunge involves exposure to extremely cold water and entails risks such as:

    Hypothermia or thermal shock

    Cold-induced skin irritation or freezer-burn-like injuries

    Slips and falls in wet areas

    Muscle strain or cardiovascular stress

    Due to these risks, ADA-compliant metal guardrails or lifts are not provided for safety reasons. A support or life vest will be offered during assisted sessions when appropriate.

    9. Health and Medical Clearance

    I certify that:

    I have received medical clearance from a licensed physician or physical therapist.

    I have disclosed any relevant health conditions or disabilities to the supervising professional.

    I understand Nordic On Nine may refuse access if participation is deemed unsafe.

    10. Membership and Booking Requirements

    I acknowledge:

    The cold plunge is available only to Nordic On Nine members.

    Non-members, including disabled individuals, must become members and book a private assisted session with a licensed provider who must submit valid credentials to Nordic On Nine.

    All cold plunge sessions must be conducted under professional supervision.

    11. Right to Refuse Service

    Nordic On Nine reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason related to safety, policy non-compliance, failure to meet booking requirements, or medical concerns.

    12. Acknowledgment of Private and Assisted Nature

    I understand the cold plunge is a private and supervised service, not a public offering. It is a specialized therapeutic amenity designed for sports recovery and physical wellness under professional guidance. Nordic On Nine does provide other accessible amenities that meet general facility use needs.

    13. Release and Indemnification

    I release and hold harmless the Released Parties from any liability related to my participation in the cold plunge. I further agree to indemnify the Facility for any claims brought by third parties arising from my participation.

    Section 3: General Legal Terms

    14. Governing Law

    This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State in which Nordic On Nine operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

    15. Severability

    If any part of this Agreement is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.

    16. Acknowledgment of Understanding

    I have read and fully understand this Agreement. I acknowledge that I am giving up substantial legal rights by signing it, including the right to sue for injuries or damages. I do so voluntarily and without inducement.

We recommend consulting with a healthcare professional before using a Sauna or Cold Plunge if you have a pre-existing condition (i.e. Cardiovascular disease, low blood pressure, bleeding disorder, prone to dehydration, taking medications like blood pressure pills). We do not recommend a sauna or cold plunge if you are pregnant, recovering from a surgery or injury, have a severe heat or cold sensitivity, or under the influence of drugs or alcohol of any kind.
