With a spacious interior, they can accommodate small groups or individuals seeking solitude, featuring ergonomic benches and a high-quality electric heater that delivers consistent, dry heat—typically 170°F.

A large 4 person in-ground cold plunge is adjacent to one sauna and another 1 person in-ground cold plunge is inside the other sauna, a striking feature that sets Nordic On Nine apart. Carved directly into the facility’s foundation, these plunge pools are maintained at a crisp 35°F to 45°F, offering an invigorating contrast to the saunas’ warmth. The in-ground design creates a seamless, immersive experience, allowing guests to step down into the refreshing water immediately after their sauna session. This hot-cold cycle, rooted in Nordic wellness practices, is celebrated for boosting circulation, reducing inflammation, and enhancing mental clarity.

We thoughtfully designed Nordic on Nine to harmonize with the Hudson Valley’s natural beauty. Floor-to-ceiling windows surround the entrance flooding the space with natural light. The interior blends minimalist Scandinavian aesthetics with carefully curated Norwegian influenced images.
